  • Liz

Liz has been at the HVC reception desk for 3 and half ears and enjoys the variety of the work and the variety of animals that come in.

Outside of work, Liz is often at a basketball stadium; she also enjoys cooking and scrapbooking – but not gardening!

  • Judith
    Receptionist and Administration

Judith says this is definitely the most interesting of all the jobs she’s worked in! She says it's not just the great Clinic staff members but especially the patients and their owners that have really made this a job she loves!

In late 2016 Judith moved from what had been her main role in reception to looking after admin in the clinic, but you will still her in reception from time to time and at weekends.

When she's not at work Judith enjoys yoga, and travelling and hiking. Her most recent trip combined both of these with climbing in the Himalayas in Bhutan.

  • William
    Recently Retired

For those who don't knew William or Willy for short, he is was our very special clinic cat who arrived on our door step in October 2010.  Unfortunately at the time he was rather unwell, but after some TLC and major genital reconstruction surgery he was much better.  By this stage we were all far too attached to him so the clinic became his new home. He spent most of his time sleeping on the job in his basket on the front desk, except for meal times when he makes sure to check out what all the other patients are being served. William has a special interest in clerical work and when not sitting on the reception desk is busy at the back of the clinic organising all your pets reminders for vaccinations, blood tests and worming.

In 2016 William decided to take it easy and taken an early retirement payout and not taking it easy with our nurse Melissa and her family.
