The 25th April is ANZAC Day, the day we remember all the Australian soldiers who served and died in all wars. But what about our forgotten dog soldiers.

Did you know that from 1967 through to 1971 dogs were employed for combat tasks in Vietnam? These dogs were set the important task of tracking scent trails to locate enemies, and were responsible for saving the lives of Australian soldiers on many occasions. These dogs served such a significant purpose in the war that the Australian Dog Memorial was created in 2001, to honour these remarkable animals. So this Anzac Day when you stop to take a minute to remember those fallen soldiers who served in our past wars, don't forget to also take a moment for the dogs of war.

The clinic will be CLOSED on Monday 25th April  for ANZAC day 2016
